Alyssa Bruno – Musical Theatre Teacher

Meet Miss Alyssa! Alyssa Bruno Walls was a former student at Sandra Lynn’s School of Dance and learned all of her ballet technique from Miss Leslie! She was a big fan of Miss Sandy’s jazz and tap classes, and while attending Kiski Area High School, Alyssa got to work with Miss Kim for Show Choir and musicals! She loved acting, singing, and dancing so much, after graduating from high school, she went on to receive her BFA in Theatre Arts from the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University. Alyssa has worked for the past decade as a performer in Professional and Regional theatre and film. She works for the Heinz History Center as a historical re-enactor and, when not performing herself, has directed numerous performances including the last four musicals at Leechburg Area High School. Currently, Alyssa is continuing her education with an externship program in Audio Engineering with Recording Radio Fim Connection and Audible Images. She lives in Apollo with her husband, Jesse and their 5 rescue cats and can’t wait to see her students again!
